Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

The Bondi Beach Public School P&C is a vibrant and engaged parent, carer, and community group dedicated to supporting student learning and strengthening our school’s sense of connection and belonging.

Working in partnership with school leadership and staff, the P&C enhances learning environments, funds resources, and organises community events and volunteering that enrich school life and foster a strong, inclusive school culture.

What we do

• Raise funds for technology, classroom resources, and playground improvements.
• Organise community-building events such as the annual Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations, Movie Night, Colour Run, and more.
• Support the  school canteen, uniform shop, and other volunteer-run services  that make daily life at school easier for families.

Join our P&C

Whether you can spare a little time or get involved more regularly, every contribution makes a difference.

Joining the P&C is a wonderful way to connect with other parents and carers, share ideas, and support our school community. You can help in many ways — from volunteering in the canteen or uniform shop to assisting at events or attending a meeting when you can. Together, we make Bondi Beach Public School an even better place to learn and grow.

P&C meetings

P&C meetings are held  Week 3 or Week 5 of each term at 7 pm  in the school staff room. Please check our website for the meeting calendar.

Everyone is welcome; you don’t need to be part of the Executive to attend or have your say!

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping in the canteen
• supporting our uniform shop
• getting involved in the P&C
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.
