School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Kinder Orientation Days – A Fun Start to School!
Parent Information Night - 29th October 2025 (5-5:45pm)

Our Kinder Transition Days are designed to help children feel excited and confident about starting school. During these sessions, kids get to explore their new learning environment, meet their teachers and classmates, and take part in a range of fun, hands-on activities. From creative art and craft projects to playful group games and story time, each session encourages imagination, curiosity, and connection.
Book Week – Celebrating the Joy of Reading!
Date: Term 3, Week 5
Time: All week
Book Week is a special time for our school community to celebrate stories, imagination, and the love of reading. Throughout the week, children enjoy a variety of fun activities such as author visits and storytelling sessions.
A highlight of the week is our Book Week Parade, where students dress up as their favourite book characters and share the stories they love. It’s a wonderful opportunity to spark creativity, build a love of books, and celebrate the magic of reading together!
Education Week – Celebrating Learning Together!
Date: Term 3, Week 3
Time: All week
Education Week is a wonderful chance for our school community to celebrate learning in action. Families are invited to visit our Open Classrooms to see students’ work and experience the excitement of everyday learning.
The week also features special performances from our talented students, including dance groups, recorder ensembles, and the school band. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase our students’ creativity, effort, and school spirit as we celebrate education and achievement together!
Easter Hat Parade – A Showcase of Creativity and Fun!
Date: April
Time: 9-10am
Our annual Hat Parade is a colourful and joyful event where students proudly display their amazing artistic creations. Each child designs and wears their own unique hat, full of imagination and personality.
With music, dancing, and plenty of smiles, it’s a wonderful opportunity to share creativity, confidence, and school spirit with our whole community!
Grandparents Day – Sharing, Learning and Making Memories!
Date: October of each year
Time: 9-11am
Grandparents Day is a special occasion to celebrate the wonderful role grandparents play in our school community. Grandparents and special friends are invited to visit classrooms, take part in activities, and enjoy learning and creating alongside the children.
There is also a book stall to browse and opportunities to share a tasty treat. It’s a warm and joyful day filled with connection, fun, and lasting memories for everyone!
P&C Meetings and Events – Working Together for Our School Community
Date: Meetings are held Week 3 or 5 of each term.
Time: 7pm
Our Parents and Citizens (P&C) meeting is a great opportunity for families to get involved, share ideas, and help our school. Everyone is welcome to come along, meet other parents, and learn more about what’s happening in our school community.
The P&C helps organise many much-loved school events, including our Welcome BBQ, Colour Run, Mother’s and Father’s Day Shootout, Movie Night, and Biennial Fundraiser. These events bring families together, build school spirit, and raise valuable funds to support our students.
