Wear a splash of orange

This Wednesday 21 March is Harmony Day which celebrates cultural diversity. The theme for this year's event is: Everyone Belongs. At Bondi Beach Public School, we represent many cultures and enjoy the diversity that this brings to our community.
All students and teachers are encouraged to wear a splash of orange on Wednesday.
On Thursday, 5C will host our Harmony Day assembly at 2:15pm in the hall.
To reinforce last week's National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence, this Wednesday after recess, all Bondi Beach Public School students and teachers will walk together around the perimeter of the school to demonstrate their shared commitment to end bullying and violence.
Students and teachers in every class have participated in discussions to address bullying and violence in Australia. Students were asked to "Imagine a world free from bullying" and to write a pledge of what they would do to in an effort to achieve this. All classes will buddy up and share their pledge to symbolise their belief and commitment to the pledge that they wrote.
After the walk on Wednesday, students will congregate on the front grass and make a formal commitment to #SayNoToBullying and every child will be invited to put their pledge into a box.
